I'd never buy "new" either, so to me "new" is more like "newish"

I agree, I would only change car if you need to ie family expanding, car has many faults not worth repairing etc etc unless of course you have money to burn. Certainly wouldn't change unless I had a real gas guzzle and did fair few miles a weekNobody ever really saves money by changing car, they just think they do based on MPG or lower tax or lower insurance but ignore other costs.
You have a small economical motor so you're not going to take a massive hit on depreciation like someone with a big engined motorway muncher will.0 -
ok thanks for your views. I am going to...
do absolutely nothing
I was just wondering as a new-ish car feels a bit excessive for our current needs but of course changing it now only makese sense if there is money to be saved.0 -
^^ Decide for yourself, that's all I can say.....
Everytime my car needs a new bulb, a new tyre, comes up for MOT or makes a strange noise, all I get from friends family is "about time you got a new one, that one's starting to cost you money".
This is the majority opinion of our indoctrinated society...... Most of us don't even bother it question it and blindly plough on credit card first into more debt.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
