I'm a EU citizen and I'm already on the electoral roll ;) I've checked and my name is on it!

I was hoping on a human decision but I might just as well wait a bit and then apply with confidence and if it doesn't go thru I can always try to twist it somehow and see what they can do.

Well I've been with barclays more than a year now but I've started with a cash card account cos obviously I couldn't open a better current account at first. then last november I asked if I could open one, they checked and I could have decided to open any of the barclays current account, even the premier one but I decided to stick with the current account plus (only £5 a month and it gives me all I need really). so It's been 6 months since I got a real current account. In the meanwhile I opened a cash ISA, a e-rewards plus and a monthly saving. I kept the cash card account as my wage go on that account and then I trasfer the money on the current account (can't be bothered with changing the bank details at work)

well I put the application in and I have to send them the bank statements and then see what they say, I really hope they won't reject it! keep my fingers crossed!
do you know more or less for how long should I stick with vanquis card? like 6 months to 1 year would be enough?

I would stick with the card for 6 months to a year.

Do you have any pre-approved offers?

When you submitted the Barclaycard application online, what did the last screen say?
  • I sent the statements a week ago and today I got them bank and they wrote.. Thanks for sending us the documentation.. That's it no letter flabout rejection or approval! I got a call on Friday but i missed it a d never call back ever since! Well it was bank holiday yesterday!
What should I do? Call them or wait? Is it a good sign? Or prob been rejected?
  • I've been approved with a £500 limit, thing is.. he was so persistent and he wanted me to pay by dd ..the minimum amount every month! even tho I said I wanted to pay in full, I was a bit scared tho that he'd reject my application if I kept going against him. so I agreed at the end, but is there a way to change it and pay in full every month? I don't wanna end up paying a ridiculous amount on interest..I Understand why he said, oh it's better minimum amount..yeh, FOR YOU!

then he went to PPI, that I rejected but he sold another thing that I didn't really get and it was about paper statements and mobile thing, sold for 1.9% of the total amount of the bill... what the hell is that? i need the paper statements and stuff, but anyways, is it possible to cancel it?

I rejected right away the cash in advance saying I didn't need it! then he went on and on and on..
