So what was the verdict on the boxes for putting the wedding dress in,are they ok,been looking at one on ebay and they have sold a lot of them,as for the kilter,i was thinking of getting the kilter roll can this be taken on as hand luggage or does this need to be put into suitcase?what sizes are the kilter rolls then?I have seen there is a kilter carrier which could be usefull which you can carry all other stuff like jacket, shirt sporran etc but this is something i might get another time,as not sure if i will be taking a jacket overseas with me

So anyone taken there kilt outfit overseas with them and what did they use or put it in,is it possible to take on as hand luggage i got my outfit the other day,and the folk put it in a carrier type bag which is something like you would carry a suit in,but this is probably for kilts to be honest it feels heavy and im sure might be over the weight for hand luggage but also the carrier does look way to big as hand luggage,i wonder what i can do here and was wondering what others have done to take a kilt outfit overseas

My MIL is in charge of taking my wedding dress, but we're finding it hard to find a hand luggage case that is the correct dimensions for Thomas Cook airlines (43cm x 28cm x 23cm) so it might end up being packed very well in tissue etc then going in the hold in her suitcase! My SIL made all our flowers so we've got to take them too, they will be dished out to everyone to put in their hand luggage! It's really stressful but not much that can be done about it, at the end of the day you can only do what you can do and hope for the best!

have a look on this website it has a product specifically that size.

Please dont put your dress in the hold, you should never put anything valuable in there. Just imagine if they lost it or damaged it!

neena -from a quick search on google I think with thomson you are literally just allowed the 1 bag for hand luggage. No extra small bags.

So of these items what are you recomending?i take this is for the dress are these not soft bags?i thought a box might be better for the dress as its solid?or got a harder surface
