Just a quick question about this. My friend got an ex demo from PC world and all it does is play a demo of the features. It runs through the speed cams and voice alerts. According to PC world this can be switched off but we cant find out how. It didnt come with manual and searching has not thrown up a solution.

So does anyone here with one of these know how to turn the demo off/on so he can use it???

Thanks

The manuals are here http://www.snooperneo.co.uk/UserManuals.cfm but I don't think it will help much.

Had a look at them... According to the salesperson there is an option to switch them into demo mode for display purposes and another to switch them out. I have emailed snooper but they are not very helpfull.

If the Sapphire is anything like my Strabo then on purchase it is loaded with nothing but a basic operating system. You have to register the unit with Snooper first before you can then download any firmware/database updates and can then activate the GPS/Speed camera warnings.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

I think you may be right.. Unfortunately the cable wasnt in the box... Starting to think he was conned...

HO87 do you have any idea what type of cable it is??? It looks a bit wierd. I did have an old venturi mp3 player that had one the same but I cant find it just now. If we knew what type it is we could try and get one cheap as they are £12 off snooper site.. It looks like a USB 2.0 A to Mini-B 4-pin but might be wrong
