    I thought amazon would have to honor the price as they advertised it at that price.

    No, but I think if they've confirmed acceptance of the order, they are stuck with it.
  • It's been said time and again, acceptance means nothing these days. Theoretically, if they've taken your money, you could potentially take them to court, but Amazon are very clever and take money on dispatch.

    I certainly wouldn't be taking them to court for £4.99
    The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.

    Yep. All the T&Cs for online sellers will say that the contract is made only when they despatch the item.
