Scottish power - fixed rate changed
Just to warn anyone who has applied to switch there fuel bills to Scottish Power's Fixed Platinum 2014 rate. As of May 12th they have increased there prices. The offer is still on offer but at version 3 not version 2. A quick look at the prices showed that I would be paying in the region of £200 extra for duel fuel over a year.
I switched on the 11th via USwitch and have in writing, that it is version 2 I signed up to.
Spoke to Scottish Power today and they are obliged to honour the version 2 I signed up to.
Same has also happened to my parents.
So if you have switched recently keep an eye on the paperwork they send you. You could get a nasty shock.
