I live in North Kent (medway area) and am searching for the 'scoop' shops that were popular a few years ago where you could buy stuff in bulk at greatly reduced prices I know there is one on the Isle of Wight but thats too far for me to travle:) but I may stock up when I am on my holiday in August Any ideas of anywhere a bit closer than that

Buy in the value jellies, these make a great snack, pudding or to add into trifle etc. Add fruit and you'll get more out of them as well. [/QUOTE]

These seem to have disappeared from the supermarket shelves over the last couple of weeks:cool:

If you are a member or know a member and are near a Costco, their Kirkland washing powder does 440 washes and costs about £14. You can also use it to wash floors etc. Obviously its not very moneysaving if you are not a member or don't know a member or have to travel miles to get it.

Sorry to hear about your job. You sound very organised and realistic and have the right attitude. Well done for squaring up to your predicament. Fingers crossed you will find another job soon. Good luck Naomi!
