365 hugs in a jar help please

Hiya

It's a special friends birthday coming up and I want to make her a jar filled with hugs and quotes that will make her feel special throughout the year. I got the idea for the jar from this site a good while back but now I need it I can find the thread. The one I'm after had links to sites with quotes ready for you to print out (cos I'm not clever enough to put in to words what I want to say :o). Could someone please point me in the right direction as I've searched till my eyes hurt for what is probably right under my nose.

Many thanks in advance and happy Monday everyone xx

I did a 'jar of hugs' for my friend last year........if I remember right I googled ''hugs'' and clicked to images and printed off the pictures and the quotes they had with them.
She was thrilled to bits with it..........didn't do 365 though.......lol:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Your welcome. Hope you enjoy choosing the quotes and making up the jar for your friend - and that she appreciates it.

I'm really looking forward to making it for her, I have just under a month till her birthday so I shall have to get a move on as I was to make an exploding gift box card for her as well and it is my 1st time for both these projects  lol

She is a lovely person who doesn't know her own worth and I want her to know what she means not only to me but to others too.

If they turn out OK I'll try and upload a picture of the end products :)

Thanks again and have a fab evening xx

Sorry no suggestions for hugs but wanted to say make sure you allow enough time to cut and fold them all up. I've done 365 jokes a few times and used a guillotine at work to cut them all up as it was much quicker & gave a straighter line. Sat & folded them up whilst watching tv.

Even something that's only a couple of lines long x 365 takes up a surprisingly large amount of space - I've bought large jars from Asda & even then had to squash them in.

Good luck am sure you're friend will love it.
