Strange automated phone msg from Nationwide - is this for real??

Twice today I have answered the phone to an automated msg from Nationwide

Msg is for 2 people and asks me to press any key to continue (I have not done this)
They then give a valid Nationwide number to call if any concerns - FlexAccount payment helpline 0845 600 5707.

Is this real? Is this how Nationwide chase unpaid items?

The other issue is why are they calling me? As far as I know these 2 people have never lived at my address

    ive not any calls but then my accounts fine, i wouldnt give any details over the phone though

  • Had a dispute with mint and this is how they contacted me but the automated message had my name and once through to the operator they were able to confirm some security questions I had for them. It was all OK but I was very dubious at first.
