Cost of a shower

Can anyone tell me the cost of a 5 minute shower? Water heated by electricity. Thank you.

    It depends what your electricity tariff is and how many Kilowatts the electric shower is.

    But, if you estimate it at less than 3p per minute, it will be around 15p for a 5 minute shower - ish !

    Ours is 9.O KWH or a £1.00 an hour.

    I just love it when my teenager children hop in for a "quick "shower and watch the energy monitor go through the roof.:(
