lost apps on iphone4 after phone broke??

hi there,

I'm so hopeless with any gadget etc so hopefully someone on here could help me...I dropped my phone and the screen was bleeding so I sent if off and they managed to repair it. However i'm guessing when they fixed it they restored it to factory settings as all my pictures and info has dissapeared....I've lost all my pictures and videos but I think I did manage to save some to my comp not all tho : ( ...however all my apps have gone..the ones I didn't pay for i'm not worried although I was doing pretty well on tap resort!

what can I do about the ones i've paid for? Would I have to pay for them again as surely I shouldn't have to and there should be something in place for this sort of event it's not uncommon to break your phone?

Have you ever connected your phone to your PC and run iTunes? If so the last time you did this iTunes will have backed up your phone so just connect back and tell iTunes this is your new phone and allow it to copy everything back again.

If there are apps have still not reappeared after you have connected to itunes and restored your phone to last back up, you don't have to pay again.
Just go to App store and click on 'buy now' as if you were buying the app again - It will ask you for your itunes password but then give give you a message saying you don't have to pay as you already paid for the app.
