Hi
I bought and successfully installed my new wireless HP printer to my router, and to my laptop.
When I tried to install the same to BF's laptop, it stopped half way through the "system check" part of setup saying there was a problem with the Printer Spooler.
I followed it's instructions to right click on my computer, click manage, find Printer Spooler on the list and select start. However, this did not work. Is there a way to reload the printer spooler and hope this allows the printer install to continue.
He is running Vista on his laptop. (It's an e-Systems thing. The printer is HP Photosmart Wireless e-All-in-One Printer for about £60, but I can't find a model number)
It installed quite happily first time on my (Win 7) laptop.
If anyone has any ideas how I can get his laptop working, I'd be really grateful.
Thanks

The odd bit of malware corrupts the printer spooler. I'd suggest a full virus check.

IS that the same as malwarebytes - that was my first thought, and it reported clear
If it's a different sort of thing, I will try it though, thankyouIt's worth a go isn't it!
