Why are people judging me, its pathetic, you're 10 times worse than me, I ask 2 questions then people decide to judge me.

I said I'm paying the debt back, why have a go at me !!!!!!.

I've sorted my gambling, debt will be paid before Christmas. Go on then judge that, unbelievable

    Its becasue of this:
I blame Egg for giving me £25,000 at 18, what were they thinking, and if there is a way to get out of paying I will. They believed I was a full time dentist, married, 2 children and was earning £60k a year

You lied like a hairy egg to get this loan but you don't consider it to be any of your fault. You are claiming you are the victim here.

If it wasn't so sad, it would be hilarious. Instead, it is one of those real Facepalm moments.
I think I can speak for most and say we are completely bewildered by your belief surrounding this loan.

Yes I lied cos I couldn't go 1 hour without gambling. What really scares me is when I pay off the loan and I have money. Anyway, I don't have an education to get into a argument so this will be my last post as u guys are not helping me.

So 'getting out of paying' the debt will simply mean having to face your fears all that much sooner. You've come to the wrong forum. You need http://www.gamblersanonymous.org.uk/forums.html

No judgement here. Seriously ppl please stop bashing others for asking a simple question. This forum used to be great but now everyone asking a question gets judged to death. Who cares if the OP spent the money on drugs/hookers/gambling etc thats thier business.

    Anyhow rant over...

I have an egg card took it out in ~2000 and as far as i recall there was no signed agreement as it was all setup via the internet. There was a by ticking this box your are agreeing/signing thingy, but it was a long time ago and I could be mistaken.

They also offered me 13k, a full time first year student with no income?? Which I thought was nuts but luckly only ran up a couple of grand debt before finding this site and getting my act together with the help and useful advice of others.

Just hope that they file a fraud notice with cfas, this will help for the future. Just hope though that they do report to the police, then you would be prosecuted for fraud.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Me despicable. I just left school and Egg believed I was a full time dentist and a homeowner, I was given £25,000, I want to contact the person who signed it. Its taken away 10 years of my life.

£5200 is outstanding and I pay £300-600 a month, don't worry I pay my debts.

    So you commited fraud then????
