Yippee,it's done.
Our solicitor called us at 4.45 to say we'd exchanged.
Unfortunately the others in chain haven't had a phone call to say it has happened,so i hope this is the case.
The other 3 are all using the same solicitor and he seems to be the one that has taken his time,so maybe he has forgotten their phone call?
God one worry after another.
Moving 14th Dec so back to packing.
Thanks everyone for this forum.I couldn't have gotten through the last 10 months without it.

well done now the fun begins removal vans etc.......my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!0

Yes , I was in a whirlwind yesterday after exchange, as I had to sort out the removal van in between picking up 3 kids from 3 different places, and of course everybody wanted to know how it had gone!!!
Off to get the boxes today together with arranging all the utilities etc and have a fun weekend of packing.
I wrote all my xmas cards last night with change of addresses and did all the emails to friends, now the fun starts telling the other 300 people and companies of the change of address, but i am glad i am in this position of panic now rather than being the way it has been the last 10 months.
Good luck everybody.
Rachaelc,i was told that the mortgage companies generally need 5 days to sort out funds between exchange and completion thats why you may have to wait. It's worth asking tho'???0
