Re: Readers digest.
Hi, I've got a problems with Readers Digest. Over two years ago I took out a subscription for my mother from Readers Digest. The second year they requested a bill be payed so I just paid it even thought I didn't want it. This year I cancelled, but the reminder bills just won't stop. I've spoken to them via the phone 0871 no and they promised me that it would be cancelled. They also told me that they usually send out 2-3 more issues after one has cancelled. Anyway, even after having spoken to them I got another final reminder payment last month. I wrote an email and they said they'd take me off their mailing list. Now today I got a final reminder again and they will pass on the dept to a credit agency. I'm not recieving this product. I've trying to get hold of them via the phone at the moment been stuck on their for ove 15mins.
What can I do to stop this. Is there any official company I can complain to?
Does anyone have a head office number. I'm an at home carer who only recieves £54 per week. I don't want to ruin my credit rating my ignoring this - but it's a product I don't want.
Any help please.
