Do I need more protection?

hi,

I'm a bit of a technophobe and need some advice please!

My Norton internet security (anti-spyware edition) 2005 that came with my laptop originally has expired. So, having read martins article about protecting my PC fopr free I thought i would have a go using free downloads.

I have installed AVG anti-virus, comodo firewall, Ad-Aware SE personal and microsoft windows defender.

Is this enough???? Do i need anything else?

I have run all the initial scans - the only thing coming up are some (approx 120)third party cookies. DO i delete these? how do i tell if they are 'bad' or not?

Any advice gratefully recieved!!!

I'd say you were pretty well covered there.
Up to you as to whether you deleted them or not, they are just tracking where you go. |If you were going to clear them down at the end of every session or not accept them in the future it would be worth deleting them.
