Sounds lovely! Do you have to pay to get in?or just for the icecreams?
If you are over our way again let me know and I will come and meet you with earthlet if I am off.
That would be lovely
You don't pay to get in and they have recently had it refurbished. There used to be a lake but they have quad bikes and a big park to one side and the animals are around the other side. Ice cream is delicious though! Nov 2025 - part 1 - £13,878 part 2 - £20,953 Total - £34,832 24 months to go!0 -

Have a great day tomorrow, I have my fingers crossed for you on the weather front. DD crawled forward for the first time on her 1st birthday (or the day after perhaps), so it seems to be a monumental development day in more ways than one!Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Thanks it was a lovely party, and he absolutely loved the attention. He was a little party animal and stayed up till 9.30pm!
Since then I have just been tidying and making lists of all the little jobs I need to do, and things I need to make.
I have started though, I have set up another savings account, and as I have been paid at the end of last month, paid for my marking, and have had half a months childcare, I have been able to save £3,839 this month, bringing my total saved since May to £16,613.37!!
I am really pleased with this result. I argued on the phone with nursery in the end and eventually they agreed and even apologised!
I have lots of salad stuff left over, and hope to make this last for a few days. We are going to the North East on Thursday for 2 weddings!!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Thanks Cath, somehow saving doesn't seem quite as exciting as paying off the mortgage, but hopefully as I see the total climb up, I will be more motivated.
Well back to the money... bad news first - oh spent £100 in costco on the meat, wine and cheese for the bbq. This is almost my full shopping budget for August (without wine).
I really need to have a cheap month and use up what I have (I think I say this every month!!) I have planned meals for 12 days, plus I have got one mystery shop for a meal, and we are eating at weddings or at my mums for four nights, so the food I have, with extra milk, fruit and fresh veg for earthlet, should last me for 3 weeks! I have a glut of bananas though, so I will make a banana loaf later.
The other bad news is that the baby bike seat I got off ebay doesn't fit my bike as I have got too many gears and bolts where its supposed to fit, so I have to source another bike. The good news is mum said I can have her simple one, and I am going to collect one this afternoon off freecycle, so that I can either use it, or give it to my mum to use.
The bike is about 30 miles away at the coast, so I am hoping earthlet and i can have a nice afternoon out, doing a ms on the way to pay for petrol, and also getting a few things from work on the way.
I would love to make a big list of the things I have got to do like twinklies, but lunch time is looming!
The good news, I have 2 mystery shops lined up.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
