How many people have applied for thousands of pounds worth of tickets and have nowhere near that amount of money available to them? Those people only have themselves to blame if they have the big bill coming in.

One thing I'm wondering about is how many people that do have the money or credit available will be caught out by their banks security/fraud division thinking the £800 bill is a fraudulent one. I've had them phone me up after buying a £200 piece of electrical equipment, hate to think what they'd think of over £700 of sports tickets.

They'd have to be very short-sighted to not be expecting large debits, as it's been very well publicised!!

Exactly but you never know do you! They might catch people misusing your card at the right times but can still block payment even for things and with people you've dealt with before!

We've applied for tickets and since then we've moved house and no longer use the card we registered.

There is nothing on the website for changing details and when we phoned them they replied with, ' we'll flag your account so when we process your application you'll receive a call before we debit your account'.

Hmmmm...wonder if this will really happen!

Cant see why we couldn't just update our address and card details online like most other shopping websites!!

This must be why there is a gap between taking the money and being told which tickets you have got. There are sure to be lots of people who have applied for too many and their banks just bounce the payment request.

Personally, I have put in for a maximum of £500 but I'd be happy if I got 2 or 3 sessions.
