Problem with MSE

For the last couple of days when viewing the forum on here I have had a small problem concerning the column on the right of the screen which contains the things like the advert for the free money saving e-mail, Latest MSE News, Deals, Ones Not to Miss, Free Tools etc.
On my computer screen that whole column has shifted a little to the left and now slightly overlaps the forum pages proper.
Its not much but it is irritating that when reading a post I can't see the last letter on each line and I can't use the Forum Jump facility at the bottom of the page.
Is it me, is it my computer or is it MSE?
Can anyone suggest a fix?

It’s the same on my screen too. Hopefully, the problem is MSE’s rather than ours.
Edit: It looks like we are not alone. I’ve just found this on the site feedback board.

Thanks for that, and especially the link. I struggled to think about where to post my query but as long as others have the same problem we can hopefully relax and it will be sorted.0

As pointed out in the other thread, it is fine in Opera 11. Looks to be a CSS issue with IE.0

I use IE 8, and this problem of overlapping means that even the numbers of the posts are covered. I do hope MSE are working on this, because it really is a nuisance.
In the meantime, I have discovered that if I reduce the zoom to 75% the overlapping disappears, and I can read the post numbers. However, I can’t read the text at this size and have to revert back to 100%, which brings back the overlapping.0 -
Sterling - Why aren't you using IE9? I have no idea whether it will solve your problem, but it looks fine on my PC.
Alternatively, why not try another browser? I know everyone here has their own favourite, but how about Firefox? Even if you don't use it for all your browsing, you could use it just for these forums until the issue is fixed. Who knows, perhaps you could end up preferring it to IE."The trouble with quotations on the Internet is that you never know whether they are genuine" - Charles Dickens0 -
I’ve just come back to the site and everything is now back to normal on my screen. Thank you all concerned at MSE for putting things right.
Hungerdunger – Thanks for the suggestions.0
