window replacement

Our windows need replacing at the front of our house. Does anyone know any good companies that aren't too expensive but do a good job. We are in west sussex. Does anyone also have any idea what money we are looking at. Would be 8 window panels (accross 3 rooms) We would also need them to be fitted.
Thanks - have never had to replace windows in my last house so no idea where to look.

cant really help on prices without designs or measurements, but I would look for smaller local companies rather than the nationals. Most upvc frames are much of a muchness nowadays and the products are only as good as the people who install them. If its a company, when the fitters arrive on the first day, give them a round of bacon sandwiches and tell them theres an extra £100 in it for them if they make a really neat job. Be the best money you ever spend. I know you shouldnt have to, but most installers are self employed on a 10% commission regardless of any lies the salesmen tell you, therefore, they cut corners. I do know a good company in hampshire http://www.ihampshire.co.uk/profile/463832/Waterlooville/Southern-Sealed-Units-and-Glass-Ltd/ they are a trade only company, but they would recommend someone to install the windows and you would have the benefit of buying trade. Ive moved from that area now and not dealt with them for years.0

Dont touch safestyle they are the worst windows i have ever had.
Very noisy still, when they fitted the doors they did not fill the gaps in around the door with the silicone.
They told me they dont do this anymore yeah right so what about rain getting in between the gaps.
I know of 10 people all had windows from these and all had problems:mad:0 -
