how do i turn off ie 9 with windows 7

can i stop ie 9 installing

dont want all updates to stop just ie9 is it possible?

    Unselect it - it's not a compulsory upgrade.

    Yep just unselect it , if it gets on there by mistake it is possible to uninstall it as well, but I would stick to Firefox :D

    Yep just unselect it , if it gets on there by mistake it is possible to uninstall it as well

    ok i've uninstalled it

    when i getfuture "updates" do i have to open up the updates 1st then tick / untick ie 9

    Yep just untick it and you can also right click and hide it.... I have actually installed it for a test for someone else, but as for me I can't [STRIKE]bare/bear[/STRIKE] stand it , hope you are [STRIKE]bearing/bareing[/STRIKE] still enjoying PC's :p
