  • Morning!

Well, I'm awake (which is a start) and have roughly 40 minutes before DD's alarm goes off in which to enjoy the beautiful morning. I'm typing quietly so the cats don't notice I'm conscious - as soon as they realise, it's curtains for my relaxation as I will be bundled by three grumpy fluffbags that are quite obviously staaaarrrrrving to death.

I am torn between having tea, coffee or just staying in bed :)

I think it might be kettle on, feed splats, tea, shower, kettle back on and coffee. All bases covered, then.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    Morning lovelies!

    piggers Squeak isn't fat! She's adorable x

Caught up with thread but brain hasn't retained anything, nope, not a thing, but hope all sickies are better, and those with issues reach a happy outcome xx

Been to garage for petrol and 2 shops for some bacci, all in my slippers  I'm so common! I forgot I had them on :o good job it was early.

AF is here...deep joy....and I'm deffo peri-menopausal, been suffering terribly the last few months, the anxiety is the worst. Still feel happier knowing I'm not alone and I'm not going mad. I've started a new book which helps take me out of things and is just something for me, going to start Yoga maybe too. The joys of being 44.

Today I'm gonna do some house tidying/flinging. Hoovering needs doing as does some washing and ironing, yes I said ironing, see.....it's my age gotta be :D Need to change my bedding too and then the usual S&Sing, cooking, rabbits etc etc amen!

I've saved £500 to pay either:- a big chunk off my NEXT account which will see it finished next month, buuuuuuuuuuuut I actually saved it to pay a chunk of my maxed out ( :o ) credit card so I would have something to fall back on, really having trouble which to give it to, head says NEXT as there is interest on the account and I want it gone, and If I give it to the credit card I would only spend it again, it's a no brainer really but I'm still umming and arring so someone slap me with a wet fish and tell me to give it to NEXT, I'm incapable of making any decisions.

Off to do some stuff in the kitchen.

Embb, slippery wet haddock being flung - it's got to be NEXT!!!!!! Oh, and we're the same age and both like the same music (Take That), I wear slippers everywhere, we're both forgetful .... what was I saying? Hmmm, I've lost track a bit. Oh yes, pay off your NEXT.

DH just called us - it's 2:40 am there - they've been out and he stayed up late to call us as he doesn't have to be up early in the morning and can have a lie-in.

    Right, off I go....

    Morning All,

I've had a really busy week at work so didn't get much done this week :( So this morning I got up early to hang washing on line and put another load in, while I was in the garden I planted a couple of sweetpea plants - all in my dressing gown :o Then made a cuppa and went back to bed to watch the news , when I finally got up for the second time WM had finished so that is now on the line and my bedding has been stripped and is now washing - phew , not bad so far, I also de gunked the fridge whilst the kettle was boiling, and decluttered some waffles and strawberries for breakfast :) I'm supposed to be having a 'girly' day with DD but she is still in bed and DS has gone with his Dad for the weekend, I may get dressed now and go mow the back lawn.
The weather is lovely here, have a good weekend everyone
    Bye for now x

p.s Embb - it really must be the Next bill x

    Morning all

Loads to get done here this weekend so I'll try to stay off of here; 2nd wash of the day just finishing; downstairs dusted.

Think DH and I will create a new master list as well. Boys have sport and revision commitments.

    Mumof2 :D

Thanks guys, NEXT it is then, it soooooo makes sense.

msgnomey- I just had a mental picture of all the dads pushing the kiddies out the way to get on the bouncy castle first and you coming over all bouncer-like :D I had a chuckle :D

I've done loads, emptied the DW and reloaded it, cleaned the kitchen, put the recycling in the bin, put rubbish in the other bin, peeled veg for tonights tea, gave the rabbits the carrot peelings, tidied the LR, hung some washing out, put the WM on, and made another brew. *thumbs up*

swap you hook-a-duck and bean bag tossing......but the weather is lovely, and it promises to be a fun afternoon. So good luck to all school fayres today - its a very popular day!

OK - time for mad swish of the kitchen then we must be away,

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
