Not much flying done here today, except I've stripped my bed (must go and make it up now!) and done the weekly shop. But instead I've been to town and bought myself some decent bathroom scales and a cheap hairdryer for spare (my one decided not to work on Friday morning after DD had a bath before school - ended up standing and straightening her hair to dry it. An hour or so later the hairdryer worked again  ) and raided Primarni, matalan and homebargains before picking DD up from school and then hitting Asda/George sale
Safe to say a bit of money has been spent today but it was worth it as DDs outgrown underwear has been replaced and I managed to snag her a couple of bargains in the sales to replace other things she's outgrown & jumpers for next winter
.
Anyways, I need to get a washload in (DD needs something I bought today for tomorrow morning ) my bed made, and make room in the fridge for all the fruit I've just bought :eek::eek: Will try and tackle some of the list as well. Catch you later :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Thanks Toots, But to be honest I have been a lazt b!£($ !!!! I had a bit of a dodgy tummy thur and Fri, plus a funeral and decided that I could stuff the housework and homework, But.....Mini rant(sorry Pigpen, nothing compared to your brood !!) Last week a house across the road was broken into, in the middle of the day, with the woman at home, the neighbours next door to us are freaky....youngest daughters boyfriend also living there and has a tendancy to stare(DD said he was staring when she was out playing with the dog)........as well as this evening, knock at the door....local kids.....the dog has a rubber bone in the garden...did I buy it.."yes"(I didn't...don't know where it came from, but it's in my garden, so!!!).....!Child X trying to steal it to give to his dog....what ever!! I will keep an eye out, Thanks. Half hour later, another knock at the door, and I can hear the kids outside(DD is in bed....it's 8 0'clock).....eventually answer the door.....kid's playing outside back garden(back lane).....kid "stands" on gates......wall is about to fall down....being held up by very expensive galvanized steel gates that OH bought cause the dog peed on the last lot of gates, rotted them and then was able to escape................
Sorry, not so short.....am I being petty???? I have posted on facebook that I am having major clearout cause I really want to move, can't afford this size of house in quiet area, so trying to get rid of stuff and be left with enough stuff to fit into a smaller house(OH won't do it as we are skint, but it makes me feel better and the house looking better)......again sorry for the legnth of rant, if you managed it all!!!!0 -
Well, not much done again today
Took dead fish back to aquatic centre, with a water sample. they didn't refund or replace, 'cos they said levels of nitrites & ammonnia in the water killed itThe fish I have had for 2 years seem to be fine with it, maybe they are just tougher fish
DH finally got home after the school run (picked up DS & DD on the way). He finds it hard to cope with the boys i look after so went out with DS to get a new reed for his clarinet (exam on Weds) & some more stones for the tank. They then took the dog out for a good walk.
All i managed to do was vac downstairs after the kids went home, and sort dinner (DH offered, but I said no, you do the tank!!) I was thinking about going swimming tomorrow, but I think I will hit the lists insteadA good long walk in the morning should be enough exercise - along with cleaning
I have remembered to pay my garage bill now
I am off to find my list now.....0 -
