Shower head holder - what size???

Just a quick one peeps!!
I have to replace the shower head holder as the holder on the one I have is broke. I have taken the holder from the rail riser (I think thats what it is called). But looking on net for any kind of replacement, I am not sure if I have to get a certain size so that the middle hole fits snuggly onto the rail riser. I have measured the hole on one I have and its about 18mm or 19mm.
Do I have to be very specific when choosing the replacemet??
Thanks
