Doing a spare bedroom with laminate flooring, taken from our lounge where we have a new floor. Very MSE:D
The best deal i have found is Wickes at 2 for £40 but am I right in thinking that 3cm is correct, they do sell 2cm and 5cm boards but i thought the one in the middle would be okay. Am i on the right track

As this has fallen from the front page without any responses, I'll move it to the In My Home Board to see if you get more replies
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. I think you are getting your cm and mm mixed up.
To be honest I would have thought the 2mm underlay would be fine for a bedroom as long as the floor you are laying it on is smooth, so 3mm is good,
<edit> if its an upstairs bedroom you don't really need to worry about getting one with a moisture barrier either.0 -
Thanks Martin, yes, I think I probably am getting them mixed up, I presume then I mean mm not cm.
(I'm of an age when I learned in feet and inches so this foreign stuff is a bit of a challenge to me:D, I do try, really I do.
It is floorboards in the bedroom and a bit rough as far as I can see so would prbably go for the 3mm.
Thanks very much for your time.
