can i block an email address with hotmail?

phishing scam emails keep getting sent to me from the email address of someone in my contacts list. i sent them an email telling them about it and advising that they should change their password but they have took no notice. yes i could remove them from my contacts list but as the emails are getting sent to people in their contact list it wouldnt make a difference.
basically i have had enough. does anyone know if i can block their email address?

In hotmail go to:

Options/more options/safe and blocked senders/blocked senders

Put in the email address you want blocked.

If you go to the top of the message band,(in the junk one) there is a button called 'sweep' drop down menu gives you the option to block the sender.
