Not sure why, but once I got rid of the sale items, and added some non sale stuff, it worked.

It 'generates a log' if you havent added a full priced item from the spring/summer range. It can't be a happy or mini priced item, occasionally it can be a reduced one but it does have to be from the spring/summer season.
It's all a bit trial and error with La Redoute/Vertbaudet codes.
And this one does have to be a new account. You can have more than one account with differing emails but be warned you will get duplicate multiple mailings/catalogues if you do!
Code worked fine for me.
Incidentally once you have a spring/summer item in basket, the £15 discount is distributed between all other items in your basket - even happy price and sale items.
