Is it possible to apply for a "sub-prime" credit card with no landline. I can provide 2 numbers for them, my mobile and work, however my work number is also a mobile, as I am field based.
I would ideally like to apply for Vanquis, but there website wont let me without a landline, would calling them help?

Dunno. But you can get a free 01 or 02 type number from http://www.sipgate.co.uk/. :j0 -
You should just be able to put your mobile number in as the landline on alot of my apps ive always put my mobile in instead of landline and its never been a problem.0

I've never been called by a CC provider. It's always been up to me to call them to activate a card or, pre online accounts, check balances and so forth. I'd guess you could provide any number you like and it won't matter. My landline account doesn't show on any credit reference agency report, either, and I've got reports from all 3 UK agencies in the past.0

With a 'sub prime' card like Vanquis they insist on their website that a landline and mobile number is entered - They also always call before issuing the card.:dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21

I have come across one credit card that can be applied for without a landline number, the Aqua credit card. The APR is at least 35.9%. My application was turned down even though I didn't think I had a bad credit score.0
