When do HAVEN offer last minute offers?

HI,

Can anyone help please, would really like to go to Haven Marton Mere 30th May (Half term) for a few nights but are on a tight budget. Does anyone know how long before the actual date the holidays unsold are discounted. What I really want to know is do I book now or wait a little while?

we went at Easter, and got a deal the day before with a private owner we found on ebay, we paid £135 for the weekend and she did all the linen, the only thing that wasn't included were the passes into the entertainment - which you do need if you want to get into the complex at night.

we are regular haven go-ers and this year bought a caravan at one of them yay!

But anyway, Haven rarely do last minuted deals as I remember calling them willing to go the next day and they basically said they would rather leave it empty than discount it!

also, when you find out online the deal and call to get it cheaper they wont as they use the same search engine!

also, if you rent with a private owner remember you will need to buy your passes separate which is about £30/£40 each or about £100-£120 per caravan

Haven is very cheap if you do a mon-fri holiday out of school holidays for about £99 incl passes linen etc

When they have unsold caravans. I find that getting on thee Haven mailing list gets the best deals what far outmatch anything on their website. Prepare to barter when you have a mailshot letter in front of you.

I got a "Prestige" Rockley Park van 3 nights for just £150!! Its normally about £470 for the same dates.
