If the manufacturer hasn't delivered it to them yet, how can the shop deliver it to you?

Believe me there are greater hardships in this life than a mattress on the floor.

Yea unfortunately, you are not caused any significant inconvenience, a month max is what I'd say is allowed.

Now 18 days since I went to the store!!! No sign of the bed, the store said....it's not here yet......it's not our fault!!

They sold me a product that broke, I only wanted to get a different bed there and then with the price we originally paid, off one of their other beds....I didn't want to take my business elsewhere..........I just want my bed....there must be something I can do?!!?!?!?

tell then you have waited long enough and if they dont give you the bed you ordered and paid for or a one of similar price or a full refund within 48 hours you will seek legal action against them. do it in a letter also and hand this to the store manager (keep a copy for yourself)

We went back to the store today and very calmly explained that a reasonable amount of time to wait for a replacement was less than the 3 weeks we ave waited.

The store manager asked what we wanted to do and we explained that we wanted to feel good about shopping with our local independant store. He gave us a £250 bed in exchange for the £150 bed we had paid and wrote the difference off.

    The key to this: PERSERVERANCE!!!

Ring them, email them, go into the store, send letters.

    Thanks everyone for your help
