a friend gave me a sky hd box (amstrad 780?) and it doesn't appear to be downloading any "anytime" content
We have a basic sky subscription, family pack + documentaries, when we got our old sky+ box we had to phone CS to get the card + box paired, before that we didn't even receive sky1, this time I just shoved the card in the box and it worked immediately, though I did then perform a reset to wipe the disk etc...
So, is there something I should do to the box, or is a phone call to CS in order (and would I need to explain where the box came from?) The box has been plugged in for about 48hrs now.

thanks, been on the hidden menu a few times (always a pita to get there), turned on RF 2 for the magic eye, but can't see any settings for anytime. Trying a rebuild (again), as it's there..Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

Hi, you need to register to get it and also have sky broadband. I thought it sounded good when I first heard about it but you only get what is available through your subscription so on your package (like mine ) it would be very limited anyway. The website states that the Amstrad 890 and 895 were the 1st boxes to get it but doesn't mention the 780, it might not have been rolled out for that box yet. Sorry misread your post, I now see you are only refering to the ordinary anytime not the plus !!.0 -
