    But it's only 11% pa rise. I think we'll be very lucky indeed to keep rises at that level. For instance the predictions are for prices to rise again this year by 15% before the expensive winter period this year. I'm expecting rises of around 15%pa for severalyears, equating to about 75% over 4 years (against the Mail's 50%). There'll be many solar and wind businesses getting very rich out of the subsidies loaded onto our bills over that timescale.

    Well, they could produce hydrogen, and that would probably make more sense than connecting them to the national grid where they cause instabilities once above a small penetration.
