new HSBC credit card

my wife has just received HSBC credit card with the 15month 0% BT offer. I am wanting to switch an outstanding balance from a Barclaycard CC but this card is in my name. The Balance transfer section on the HSBC website asks for the Name of the Cardholder as well as the card number, provider etc. Will this matter if its not my wife name on the card???

I've done a BT the other way roung (from my HSBC to OH's Barclaycard) and it went through fine.
I recently got a 0% offer for BT from HSBC and the letter said phone for an instant decision. Perhaps if you phone and do the transfer rather than online they'll tell you straight away if there is an issue.0 -
Hi there my boyfriend got exactly the same card and I put my name on the Balance transfer section with my card details and it went through fine !!makes so much more sense than the high(er) interest I was paying!!A lot of fellows nowadays have a B.A., M.D., or Ph.D. Unfortunately, they don't have a J.O.B."0
