Can someone advise me please.

One of my sons has MS and is sometimes bumped into, on Wednesday someone did just that in the middle of a crossing knocking him over and by the time he had recovered he realised his wallet was gone, but he did see the bloke who did it.

Now I have been looking at the little cameras such as pens and the car key that looks like a remote type because he could have that in his hand or on a chain attached to his belt, Has anyone got one of this type of camera, are they any good and what one would be best in this situation. [not too expencive]
Thanking you Drinda.

TBH, I don't think that in reality it's going to help. This type of thing will always take him by surprise, and by the time he's even thought about the camera, the perpetrator would be too far away to get any useful images.

Sadly these people rely on surprise and our general (for most people) inability to react quickly.

IMO, a better approach would be something like a body belt for valuables - Ok, less convenient for everyday use, but very hard for a dipper to take.

or carry a strong hunting knife. it's all very well capturing the thugs on camera, but it doesn't stop them doing it.

Yes, carrying a big and strong hunting knife is fantastic advice isn't it, since it will get you wound up for murder and doing 18 years over the wall.

    THINK BEFORE YOU POST.

You are better off making sure he has a decent bag that allows quick access but is also secure. And also teach him to not have any valuables on show unnecessarily.

Absolutely! What idiot carries a hunting knife when a machete could do the job in one swing!

Yes, all very witty but rather inappropriate, after the recent Tenerife incident... :(
