To transfer pics from PC to SD card use a card reader (connects via USB) and shows up as an extra drive on the PC
This one's £3.99 but p&p is £3.95 - (but still cheaper than collecting one from PC World)

7DayShop is also good for SD cards (512 MB for £4.49) and you'll need one of those - so p&p cost is less significant between the two.

I was going to buy one these from Amazon for my sister but the reviews really put me off.
Apparantly the picture is displayed at a different ratio to how it is as a print so photos are distorted, too long or wide. Also I was concerned becuse my sis uses a sony memory stick and these are not compatible so I would have to buy an SD card and a card reader too to she could upload photos from her laptop onto it. The ones I looked at didn't come with a usb lead for the computer, how daft!

I have two ordered from Amazon and they play photos no problem, without distortion etc.
Does come with USB lead too.0 -
Maybe you bought a more expebsive model? This is the one I was looking at, its says it has a usb lead but according to a review it does not connect to the computer, but to a memory stick (not sure how though)

Haven't bought one was put off by the lack of any built in memory. Therefore you need a spare memory card to display images.I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0 -
well...
I have ordered the ATMT from Amazon at £49.99 plus a spare 1gb SD card £7 and a plug in memory card reader/writer at £6.
That way I figure I can put some inital photos on the card from my PC and give as a gift complete but then they will be able to upload any photos they want onto the card, using the writer and their PC, and view them on the photo frame. so I can email pics which they'll be able to use.
Hope this works!;)0 -
I saw at John Lewis in bluewater. The pictures were excellent, far better than any others I had seen. Prices though were over £100 but IMHO worth the extra.0
