its basically what i did, with 4 or 5 houses. pretty much only had one offer open at a time, when an agent rang to say our offer had been declined and they wanted an extra 10k etc, i told them what i was doing and did they want to sit out a few rounds? and 1 house would get bought and 3 / 4 people wouldn't hear from me again. focuses their mind!! i was happy with what i bought my house for!!
