Payee Name on Business Account

I've got a business current account with Natwest but every time I pay someone with it, rather than showing the business name, it shows my name.

Is it possible to change it so that it shows the business name?

do you mean by cheque or debit card
are you sole trader, partnership or limited company

No, I mean, if I pay someone from the business account via bank transfer, it shows up that the payment is from me personally, rather than the business name.

I'm a Sole trader

how is the name styled on yr paying book

are you Mr Delirious t/a magic mushrooms

or

magic mushrooms

how are you doing the bank transfer

on-line or in branch via chip & pin or is it a regular payment

natwest may have grouped both names together for some odd reason call them and ask

I would give yr business manager a ring & explain the prob - as Mr Delirious is actually in the title of the account name, that could be why only that 1st part of it is recorded - usually around the 1st 16 characters are captured - as long as yr sending it from yr business on-line acc & not yr personal page see if the name can be amended

Thanks, I'll give them a call and ask.

It's definately from my business account that I'm sending payments from (My personal acc is with a different bank). Payments actually appear as coming from, say, 'Bloggs JD' but will definately give them a call today.
