Q. What does "eBay is only a venue" mean?
A. eBay is an exciting electronic marketplace where you can buy and sell to your heart's content. However, eBay does not ultimately participate in the transaction between buyer and seller, verify that items are genuine, or guarantee that you will receive payment or items
Ebay. We are only a venue (but only when it suits us!)0 -
Hi
It looks to me like the ring has been pieced possibly with the wrong solder but the joins are poor. It can be repaired with a laser for a seemless join or 22ct solder, which wont cost much. You are welcome to post it to us for us to quote you.:j0 -

I've got these 6 great big heavy bricks of gold coloured metal that my German great grandfather left my mum.I've been meaning for years to find out what they are...I just use them as door stops.
I think he was a high ranking Officer during the war (not something we like to talk about) and he retired to South America.
Could I send them to you for evaluation?
They're too heavy for special delivery. So thought I might just use standard parcels, don't even have to bother with a signature then. :j0
