My call package is with Sky and my line rental is with BT. I also have the FREE BT Unlimited Weekend call package that allows added benefit of caller display.
I believe this is free based on making a certain amount of calls through my BT account per month. I have searched high & low over the T&C to find this infomation, but no joy. Can anyone post me up a link or explanation with this infomation please ??
Also does prefixing the number with 1280 move the call from my default Sky package to BT ??

Latest I can find for you is this
http://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Talk-Technical-Issues/Sky-Talk-Freetime-causing-issues-with-BT-line-rental-charges/m-p/33961/highlight/true#M921Sky Talk uses a service from BT Wholesale called WCLI and with this you cannot use 1280 to bypass Sky Talk (have a look at www.bt.com/1280). Previously, when Sky used to use a different service from BT Wholesale called CPS, you could just dial 1280 before you made a call and it would be on the BT network, but unfortunately this changed a number of years ago.0 -
