Need Help Painting, Luton Area

I’m going to move house presumably in early February, and I want to get it painted, floorboards sanded and a wall built in the garden as soon as possible. I have done these things before, but have trouble with my back now, so I’d like to get some people in to help me. I don’t fancy paying professional painters etc. because painting really only takes some common sense and accuracy.
Any suggestion how to find somebody, like some students or so, to help me? Also, could it be an insurance issue to get somebody in, who isn’t professionally trained, and finally, you would not happen to know somebody interested in a couple of weekends work in the Luton area?

Any hints would be greatly appreciated!
