Freecall ripoff

Just wanted to report on my experiences with Freecall. The software seems quite good and for the handful of free calls that I've actually been able to make the sound quality has been good. But it wasn't long before I got the following message:
"You have reached the maximum number of free trial calls. To make unlimited calls please buy credit. Do you want to go to the website where you can buy credit?"
So I went to the website over a week ago and paid 11.6 euros for 10 euros of credit (extra is something to do with VAT I think). And this shows happily in my account. But I still get the above message every time I try to make a call to a non-free number. I can't use the credit that I've bought. My e-mails to the company complaining to the company have received no response after several days. So they have taken my money, given me nothing in return, and there's absolutely nothing I can do about it. Just to warn you. I'll update this thread as and when they do something about the situation.

I think that they have been having problems today.
I registered yesterday and everything was OK. Today I was trying to get the incoming number that I got from http://www.voiptalk.org/reallyvoip to forward to Freecall (See mine and BexTech's postings at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=76146&page=7). I could not get it to work, even though it forwarded to the sister company voipcheap.co.uk. I also had trouble logging on to the Freecall program this morning.
Give it a go later, it may be OK.

I'm not saying this works, but it has solved a couple of other problems, like the credit not appearing quickly0 -
Still nothing. It's not just the money, but also the complete failure to respond to any questions. I can't even see how to contact them on their website when I look today. What kind of company gives this level of service? It's not realistic to have any commercial relationship where there's so little possibility to resolve problems.
I'd so like to be able to able to use the Internet for making phone calls, but this is the second company I've tried now, and both have been disastrous.0
