falling down lean to glasshouse/conservatory

On the back of my house is a very old lean to glass house/conservatory about 15 x 10ft that was put in by the previous people.
It's been buckling and getting weaker for years now but I've never had the funds to pull it down & put up something in it's place. It's not something you can 'patch' either, it's just horrible!
This morning one of the doors has fallen right off and I'm afraid the rest will go very very soon
I have insurance, but does anyone know where I stand on it? It clearly hasn't been maintained, because there was nothing we could do it was a lost cause anyway. Will I be able to claim?
I'm a student at the mo; I can't get any benefits (& don't want to claim them) and so can't get a loan to sort it out; I'm in desperate...
Thanks for any suggestions!

i would have thought that if it hasn't been maintained then you won't stand a chance of claiming as it's your responsibility to keep your property in good order , if it had been struck by a tornado you might have a bit of luck0

main thing is from a safety aspect you dont want any of the glass to come down on you. Given the time it has been up, it my not be toughened in which case it is definitely a danger. If its that bad, bite the bullet and get it taken down. If its aluminium, the local scrap dealer (see the classifieds) will probably do it for nothing and get a mini skip (1 yard) for the glass. Total cost under 100 quid and safe.0
