nPower Standard Heatwise
I rent a 2 bedroom gf flat with storage heaters and electricity only , no gas right next to a canal - not sure if that makes any difference but I thought I would mention. I am on nPower's Standard Heatwise tarriff according to the bill, can any one tell me whether that means I am paying standard tariffs or is it economy 7. I tried looking up on the uSwitch website for switching but I couldnt find the standard Heatwise tariff, so I am not sure whether I should compare against Economy 7 prices with other suppliers or standard prices of other suppliers.
Is there a way to find out whether I can switch to Economy 7 plan or whether I might need to change meters?

Only just read your post but better late than never I suppose! What you have said doesn't really make sense in that as far as I'm aware the only company offering a "Heatwise" tariff is Eon (which used to be called Powergen), and only then in the East Midlands area. If you aren't clear about what tariff you are on or about switching meters I suggest you ring npower and ask them. But you are right that you need to be on something like Economy 7 if you have storage heaters.0

Npower are the only company as well as E.ON which have a special tariff for Heatwise meters. When I last enquired they worked out slightly more expensive than E.ON for me.0
