Two biscuits is better than recieving nothing, how ungrateful to complain.I'm not complaining - I haven't been given biscuits but not everyone will be and I'm happy with any freebies I receive. Even two biscuits!
But as a diehard horse racing fan I'm confused as to how a real flesh and blood racehorse fits in with this marketing. Racing is a fantastic sport and it does need all the good publicity it can get. Lord alone knows it gets enough negative press.
Richard Hannon is a top class trainer of two year olds (the fictional 'Ambers' ' age) and it's not unreasonable to expect him to have a string of winners this season.
To guarantee good publicity for Fox's, a winning horse will probably be nominated as 'Ambers' and publicity pics taken... etc, etc...
So it is a bit of a marketing ploy, but we can perhaps expect more biscuits to be offered by Fox's when a Hannon two year old filly (ridden by his son in law Richard Hughes over 7 furlongs) wins. Fox's have promised more biccies when Ambers wins.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... There are pictures of the filly on the facebook page and her pedigree is given, so I think the horse is real!!!
Ambers is a filly by Shirocco, out of Magic Hill. She is unraced, so has no form in the book and has been entered into the 2011 flat racing season. Her trainer is Richard Hannon who has trained more than 100 winning horses over 11 racing seasons.
Say's she will be ridden by Richard Hughes(who I believe is on a ban from racing at the moment for careless riding?)"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Just found an article from the DailyMail with a bit about Amber's wearing a hat at Royal-Ascot! So it must be a real horse!

That's a relief... even if the pics are Photoshopped! The average two year old would freak out at a hat like that.
Shirocco is the sire of Brown Panther, bred by Michael Owen (yes, that Michael Owen) who won at Royal Ascot this year.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... hi guys looking at the terms and conditions on the main race page i think its a twin pack of the biscuits as in two tubes not just two biscuits- might be wrong as it was a special for hitting 20,000 in the syndicate but heres hoping0

I think duckbubbles is right-looking at the t&c's it states:
The prize consists of a twin pack of Fox's Ambers Original Biscuits (170g) accompanied a 25p off coupon off the next purchase of Fox's Ambers Original Biscuits (170g) (the “Prize”).0 -
A twin packet? It was showing a pack containing 2 biscuits when I clicked on it. Time will tell!0
