Just double checked on the Racing Post website and on Richard Hannon's own website, there is DEFINITELY no horse called 'Ambers' currently in racing! However, 'Ambers' could well be the pet name of another horse running for Hannon and that might explain it. Obviously a horse can't be 'owned' by a fictional character, and it's possible that the two year old filly 'nominated' to be Ambers but actually running under another name will run soon... I love horse racing and was so interested in this story as I love the idea of more people becoming fans of a great sport, but it all does seem a bit of a stunt with no substance at the moment!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
