car stereo not working-garage not paying!

Hi all
I bought a car in february this year. I sent the car in for some repair work in April and the day after, I noticed a fault with my cd player. I kept my eye on the problem for a few days to see if it was just a slight 'blip' that would rectify itself. This didnt happen so I contacted the garage who removed the radio seperatley so I could still use my car and sent the radio to their repair centre. The repair centre told the garage it needed a new circuit board and 1 was on order. However, after 2 weeks the board didnt arrive and after constant chasing, the garage was told that they could not get hold of a circuit board and would need to replace the unit. The garage told me they would pay for this replacement, so I was happy. Then, I got a call from them to say the warranty will not cover it but they will pay £250 towards the £400 bill to replace the unit. I am not happy with this as I dont think I should have to pay anything at all. I returned the car within 3 months with a fault they told me could be repaired, but now they cant. The garage are not moving on this matter and want me to pay £130 which I simply do not have-I cannot afford to pay for it.
WHERE DO I STAND ON THIS? PLEASE HELP!

When there's a knock at the door, why do dogs always think its for them?
