Hopefully not gonna spend any money for the whole weekend! I only have £16 to last me until pay day on the 27th (but at least all my bills are paid).
Going to have a lazy weekend, I think. List some more stuff on Ebay,count the pennies in my piggy bank, watch Doctor Who, go to the park and play computer games! Basically any free activity
Hope you're all having a lovely Saturday! I've only just got up :O0 -

Not been on this thread for a while, but feeling particularly frugal and have a really tight couple of months thanks to some work that needs doing on my car
so this weekend i have/plan to -
* do my daily clicks and any surveys that come my way
* get through about a weeks worth of washing on 30 deg
* tidy up, wash car
* been food shopping for the week already. Got 2 x John West tuna tins from Poundland for packed lunch, fruit, salad & bread from Aldi and some frozen bits from Farmfoods. Worked out far cheaper than getting the whole lot from Morrisons
* bake some cakes
* make flapjack for work packed lunches
* tea from freezer. Have a big portion of chicken soup made from leftovers a few weeks ago. Will be enough for tomorrow's tea aswell.
Have a nice weekend everyone !#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -

Hi everyone,
Yay Saturday! My favourite day of the week
I have a lot of catching up to do with yesterday's thread & my list as I didn't get half of it done, but I did have a good night out!
Happy birthday Ixia! Hope you have a wonderful day & thanks for starting us off.
DNMS - Good luck! I'm sure you'll do brilliantly today
Thank you for your advice yesterday, although I don't think I can be quite as minimalist as Miss Minimalist (I'm a very sentimental person, I have tickets/wristbands from every gig & festival I have ever been to, & keep every card my OH has ever gotten me lol), it kinda puts things in perspective! I feel like really decluttering, not just organising my clutter, thinking I'm in control. Seems I've become a master at that without even realising! I'm amazed at how lightly she travels though, I am a compulsive over packer thinking "But what if I need this?" :rotfl: Time to change this at least a bit! I don't think I will get rid of my sentimental bits as they are beautiful reminders of fantastic experiences & people I care about, but I certainly have a tonne of junk lying around that I never use but keep "just incase" I ever do.
Aria - Ooh have fun at the gig!
Trajal - Ouch was that just for you?? You are doing the right thing by compensating elsewhere though, well done. Congrats to your fiancee too!
Browneyedbazzi - Welcome!
