    Redress?.... really? I guess financially it has mucked me up seeing as i've got to pay back rediculous amounts of interest on my motorbike loan.
    But is it really worth trying to get compensation? Apart from getting the CCJ set aside of course

    Probably better to keep them on your side to sort out the CCJ first.

    When that is done you can decide whether or not to pursue a complaint against them for redress.

    Well, rang up today, turns out they had applied for it to be taken off my account a wee while back and so it should have been. Seeing as it's not they're contacting the solicitors they used for me today, and will be sorting it all out for me so should be off the database shortly. Apparently they notified the courts they were paying, but the reason the dates dont match up on the letters i have is because obviously there's a delay in the other party receiving the cheque due to post.....
    But should be getting sorted, ball is rolling now.
    Quite good that it was only about 7 mins on the phone :D

  • well, so far got letters from my solicitors to forward to experian and equifax. sent by recorded to them on the 3rd of this month. experian got those but i think equifax's may have got lost in the post..... eek. will try n get another set to send to them. now just the waiting game as experian has 30 days to correct my credit file.
