It's a group 9 car, the VW Lupo is a group 7.

When it comes to cheap, small cars, insurance groups don't make a whole lot of difference for young drivers. It all depends on actual circumstances, age, experience, location etc. In theory, Matiz, Yaris or ForTwo are the lowest insurance band and still, in my case, the prices were 50% higher than for a group 7 car.0
