Amazon refunds - Praise

I want to post a praise (for a change) about how great Amazon refund is.
I bought a HP laptop from Amazon on 24 Apr. Got it a few days later. Started it up and found that it was full of crapware. Spent 10 days to try and uninstall most of them. Then it started to have random restarts/reboot. It maybe a hardware fault or my overeager uninstalling of crapware causing a serious system/OS/registery fault. Either way, it cannot work properly with all the random shut down, and I cannot be bothered to restore it with the restore CDs and get all the crapware all over again.
So login to Amazon and start the return process on 7 May and ordered a Samsung one instead. DHL is supposed to pick it up on 9 May. No one turned up so on 10 May, I took it to the depot (1 min from my office) myself instead.
Today I got an email at 1532 saying that they got the return and is inspecting it. Soon after, at 1859 I got 2 emails saying the refund is complete and a credit note is issued to my card. :T
I had always heard good feedback on Amazon's returns but this is the first time I experienced it myself. Well done Amazon! :T
Also a note for anyone else wanting to return computer hardware or software; I included screenshots and error report logs in the box showing the errors/faults. Sometimes random computer problems can be hard to trace and this can help to prove your case. I also took some pictures of the BSOD, but they are not needed at all.
It only took 4 days for the refund to be issued by Amazon.:T I just wish they will not use Hermes for shipping. My Samsung ordered on 7 May is still going around the whole country!

I can back up that Amazon are fabulous when it comes to refunds. We bought a TV just before Christmas and when we got it it had a major fault which made the TV unwatchable. We sent the TV back and within 24 hours had a full refund. We then found a better TV for just a little more than the original TV so ordered that. They told us it wouldn't be delivered until after Christmas but it arrived in plenty of time. We love Amazon, buy just about everything from there.Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)0
